Why we need your help
Ocean rowing is one of the most extreme endurance challenges on Earth. From 20-foot waves and tropical storms to freezing Atlantic temperatures and isolation at sea, every mile is hard-earned. Every item on our boat matters — and every donation helps us stay safe, nourished, and moving forward.
Your kind donation will go towards funding emergency equipment, essential equipment and food. We have already spent close to £100,000 of our own money so we are fully committed to this project and are not relying on kind donations alone.

Dawn will be rowing for Pheonix Heros:
The transition after leaving the Armed Forces can be quite traumatic for many, new home, new place to live and a new job are just some of the things that adds additional pressures. Many veterans become isolated and feel alone, miss their friends, and find it hard to reach out for support and therefore building a veteran community is important, together we are stronger!
All the above can have an impact on mental health, this coupled with traumatic experiences whilst serving can be a challenge, the peer 2 peer support that naturally forms within a veteran community can make things a little easier.
It takes time and commitment to build a veteran community and you need to be focused on delivering regular projects, our veteran community building will always include the families and the children in everything that we do.
With your help we will be able to grow these communities across the UK and by doing so it will allow us to reach out to more veterans and their families and offer them the relevant support that they need.

Donate to our US Causes
Paul will be rowing for K9s for Warriors:
The nation’s largest veteran service organization focused on providing highly trained Service Dogs to Warriors. Our program is focused on mitigating the debilitating symptoms of service-connected traumas. We validate our methods through tireless research and make breakthroughs every day. Successfully guiding a veteran through the K9s For Warriors program and providing them with a Service Dog doesn’t just change the Warrior’s life. It saves it.
The majority of our K9s are rescued from shelters. In saving these animals from abandonment or euthanasia, we give them purpose. Each pair who graduates from our program represent two lives saved – the Service Dog and the Warrior.

Penny’s Flight Foundation was launched in celebration of the extraordinary life of Penny Doerge and the qualities that she personified — joy, artistic expression and humor — while bravely living with Neurofibromatosis (NF) since infancy.
The Foundation’s mission is to make much-needed advances in medical research on Neurofibromatosis and related disorders — with a lasting impact on altering the course of this disease. There is no cure for NF and research around the disease remains underfunded, despite being one of the most common genetic disorders in the United States.
