SEA SURVIVAL
COURSE
This course is taught with some classroom input, but an important part
of the course is a practical session in a swimming pool. Experience first
hand the problems of entering an uncooperative liferaft and assisting
others while fully kitted out in wet weather gear and a lifejacket.

DAY SKIPPER THEORY
A comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers. This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising. The course is taught over 40 hours with two exam papers.

YACHTMASTER THEORY
Advanced training for more experienced skippers building on the Day Skipper course. This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages.
The course is taught over 40 hours with three exam papers. It allows some time for revision of the basics and then moves on to advanced navigation techniques.

ICC
PRACTICAL AND THEORY
The ICC (or to give it its full title International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft) is a certificate which is intended to provide evidence of competence when requested by officials in foreign countries. It was historically known as the International Certificate of Competence.

To take on an Ocean in a rowing boat takes a huge amount of training. This 5 day course will give you your mandatory courses and also includes evening sessions from guest speakers.
You will learn a huge amount from Dawns expertise as she has crossed the Atlantic three times, the Pacific once and is currently planning on even more Ocean rowing challenges..

POWERBOAT LEVEL 2
This course will teach you boat handling and seamanship in power boats. The course is run on our 6 metre RiB based in Burnham on Crouch
You will learn man overboard, anchoring, slow boat handling and how to handle the boat at planing speeds.
If you are looking to obtain your ICC (international certificate of competence) we can help with this too.
